SHOWROOM > LEGEND

The LEGEND is a lightweight two seat clubman style sportscar with a front mid-mounted engine, rear wheel drive and a suspension geometry developed from over 50 years of motorsport. By combining proven, modern and affordable mechanical components from the BMW 3-series with timeless clubman styling, GKD has created quality, high performance and low cost sports cars that delivers pure back-to-basics motoring that exemplifies the ethos of ‘performance through lightweight’.

The LEGEND is available in three specifications:

LEGEND S - The LEGEND S is aimed at street use with the occasional track day and combines traditional clubman styling with exhilarating performance. The LEGEND S also has the option of full wet weather gear to keep the worst of the weather at bay.

LEGEND ST - By adding a full bolt-on roll cage with additional chassis mounts and flared front side panels, the LEGEND ST is ideally suited to those who are interested in taking their cars on regular track days, hill climbs and sprints but who would also like to use their car on the road and is the recommended option for high output engines including the M3

LEGEND R - For the ultimate experience, the LEGEND R is aimed at the serious race competitor. With a T45 tubular chassis and full roll cage along with a 50mm lowered ride height as standard, the LEGEND R is the perfect track car.

The LEGEND has a capacious engine bay that can accommodate a wide range of car and bike engines. However, the LEGEND's standard engine fitments are from BMW's range of 4 or 6 cylinder petrol engines up to and including that from the legendary BMW M3 (E46 engines may require an aftermarket ECU). In addition the standard LEGEND chassis is designed so that cars can be constructed in either Right or Left Hand Drive.
